Christian Isquierdo

Christian Isquierdo, M.A., YFS, YSAS,
Founder & Director
LeftFoot Coaching Academy.

Christian's passion is not just for the best a player can be, but the great player within every student. As a student of the game and a passionate ambassador, Christian takes every player through a personalized session and tries to integrate life lessons, movement, the unknown splendor of the universe and the amazing qualities of the ball with what it means to be a great player.

With a number of accomplishments on and off the field Christian's favorite accomplishment is watching his students excel on and off the field. Having played until a significant injury forced "early" retirement from the game Christian went on to study the martial arts for several years and returned to soccer a drastically different player from his studies of Zen Buddhism, Movement Psychology and Kojosho Karate. Upon returning to the youth soccer game after several years studying complex systems theory, environmental leadership and group process with several national leaders in the field, Christian began forming his own theories of the game of soccer and practicing them by developing young players.

Sixteen years later, LeftFoot Coaching Academy is a "systems" intervention in the process of youth development and way for Christian to give back to the game everything he has learned.
